FISH is the official magazine of Freedom Church Chennai — a collection of stories, testimonies, and moments that celebrate what God is doing in and through our church family.
The name FISH is inspired by the ancient Christian symbol known as Ichthys. During the early Church, Christians used the fish as a discreet way to identify one another in times of persecution. The Greek word Ichthys is an acronym meaning Jesus Christ, God's Son, Saviour — a simple yet powerful declaration of faith.
That same heart inspires our magazine today. Every edition is an invitation to discover stories of faith, hope, and transformed lives. Whether you're part of our church family or reading for the first time, our prayer is that these pages encourage your faith, strengthen your relationship with Jesus, and remind you that God is still at work today.
We also hope you'll share FISH with someone else. Just as the early Christians used a simple symbol to point people to Jesus, this magazine is our way of extending an invitation — believing that every story has the power to inspire faith, and every shared copy could be the beginning of someone's journey with Christ.
